Comments
Stocks or Exchange Traded Products
Another week with no exits, as our core strategy of buying our top ten names and holding them until they get stopped out (and then replacing them with a new top ten name) continues to perform well. As we noted in our top names post, 18 of our 24 top names cohorts this year so far have outperformed the market.
Options Trades
Nike ( NKE 0.00%↑ ). Nike beat earnings, but gave disappointing guidance and the stock was crushed.
CarMax (KMX 4.02%↑). We might have been able to get out of this one for a larger gain, had we set our exit at 85% of the spread.
As usual, we’ll add the data from these earnings trades (and the ones we researched but didn’t place) to our spreadsheet, and update our weightings based on how each of our signals has performed.
