Trade Alert: First Quarter Bets

Bullish options bets on two names a top technical trader expects to move higher.

A Trader Who Predicted Tesla Would Hit $420

One of the traders I follow on X has been bullish on some of the same names I have been, including Tesla (TSLA 0.00%↑). He’s been a lot more bullish though, and more accurate in his targets. For example, when I was thinking Tesla might hit $350 by the end of next year, he was thinking it would it $420 this year. And it did just that yesterday.

He posted a list of names along with Q1 targets for them, which I just went through. A couple of the names we already have positions in; others have already moved to close to his targets. The two below still look like good bets though.

One is a name I posted a trade alert for two months ago, but it never filled. The other is a new one for us.

A note about leaving trades open: What I’ve been doing recently is placing GTC orders to open options trades via Schwab. They have a feature where they prompt you to enter a date up until when you want to leave your trade order open. I’ve been leaving trades open for a few weeks (check first to make sure there aren’t earnings scheduled during that time frame).
