Trade Alert: Short Term, Speculative

A speculative bet on a potential new top name.

A Potential New Top Name

In order for a stock to be considered for our system’s top names, it needs three things:

1. A 6-month track record.

2. Options traded on it.

3. A long-term proxy, if it hasn’t been around at least 10 years.

There are thousands of stocks in our system, with new ones added every week, and old ones dropping off somewhat less regularly. Since those old ones are often long-term proxies for other stocks, when they drop out of our system (because they were acquired by another company, for example), it can leave other stocks without a long term proxy.

One such stock came to my attention from my Market Watchers X List last night. I manually added a long-term proxy to it in our system, so it will be interesting to see if it hits our top ten names tonight. If it does, I may post a longer-term trade for it on Friday. In the meantime, I’m going to try to place a short-term, speculative trade on it.

This is a software company expanding into AI, and it has solid technicals and fundamentals according to ChartMill:

• A technical rating of 8 out of 10.

• A fundamental rating of 7 out of 10.

• A valuation rating of 7 out of 10.
