I have just subscribed and would like to know when you post trade alerts. I agree with the note below that exits need to be provided in alerts as well as opening trades

Welcome aboard, Victor.

I don't have a set schedule for trade alerts--I post them as soon as I get filled on trades--but during earnings season I should have trade alerts on Mondays, at least.

I post my exits in the comments of the original trade alert post as soon as I get filled on those, but you can exit sooner than I do by using a lower price when you place your limit orders to close the trades.

If most subscribers want it, I can add an additional end of day post noting any exits I made that day, but I'm wary of sending you guys too many emails. I don't want to lose subscribers on account of that.

HI David, looking forward to your trade recommendations today.

Going forward, is it possible to get a trade alert when you exit?

I figured out the limit order on gains, are you setting a limit order to exit on a certain loss or ? I don't like losing, so looking forward to hearing from you,

Thank you.

Hi Big,

See my comment to Victor re trade alerts on exits.

Re setting limit orders on options trades to stop losses: no, I am not doing that. First, I don't think it's possible to set more than one limit order on the same trade, and second are volatile, and I wouldn't want to be stopped out ahead of earnings. Note that had I done this with CDLX last week, I would have lost money on it.

If the stock goes the wrong way after earnings, I'll adjust the price on my limit order and take what I can get for it.

As I've mentioned before, when placing options trades, you should only use an amount of money you're willing to lose.
