Okay, now that everyone who wanted to has seen it, we can get to the salient point for this trade alert, which is that “Kobayashi Maru” has come to refer to a no-win scenario in popular culture.

The no-win scenario here is for those who have bet against one particular distressed bank, because this bank now has access to a bit of financial engineering that can turn the tables on them.

So after betting against three banks earlier this week, I bet on one today. Details below. This one is speculative, but seems worth a flyer here. If we’re right, our upside could be significant.
