How did you sell (half) the HOOD contracts @ $6.00? I have not seen them higher than about $4.60. Did i buy the wrong option? I got the Dec 27 $37 strike.
Sorry, looks like I had made a typo in this post. I meant to write the $35 strike calls. The break even for them was going to be $37, if we bought them for $2.
The $37 strike calls should do well too though if HOOD keeps going.
$GEO is at $34 now. Wish I used a longer expiration on those calls.
Out of the GEO calls today at $0.60, for a loss of 66%.
Out of this Tesla call spread today at a net credit of $4.78, for a gain of 378%.
Out of half of my HOOD contracts today at $6, for a gain of 253%.
Out of the other half of those HOOD calls today at $3.60, for a gain of 112%.
RE: TSLA 390/395 How high does TSLA need to go to reach our target exit point? TSLA closed at $424 on 12/11.
Hi Ken,
Dr. Janello answered your question in the form of a guest post which I had published on ZeroHedge here: https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2024-12-13/when-exit-winning-tesla-trade
Interesting question, Ken. I just ran it by our friend Dr. Janello, who's been trading options for ~50 years. I'll let you know what he says.
